Our sweet little Abigail turned four on Saturday…
The festivities began with a nice breakfast and a picture with some very cute brothers!
Big brother Jesse helped with the decorations, he did a great job climbing up on the ladder to hang the birthday banner.
The next part of this fun girly day was to paint little Abigail’s fingernails….
and cute little toenails!
Isn’t she the picture of sweetness?
The neighbors came by to join in the fun and have their nails done too!
Big sisters made a special birthday cake, heart shaped at Abigail’s request.
How old are you Princess?
Alright, alright, you too little Prince! But… I think you may be a little younger than that.
Ooo, the best part of the birthday cake… eating it!
This girl is very particular about the wrapping paper! Come on sweetheart, it’s okay, rip it!
The one thing Abigail wanted for her birthday was to have her ears pierced, and when I say “wanted” I mean reeeeally wanted! We explained it to her several times and she still wanted them. As we pulled into the parking lot she said, “It is going to hurt but then it will stop hurting, and then I will have earrings!”
Here she is with Mommy trying to decide if she likes the flowers, butterflies, or the pink sparkly hearts. Pink and sparkly it is!
She was such a brave girl… no screaming, just a few little teardrops. Poor little Abigail, we are so proud of you!
Sara took this precious little shot as we were heading back out to the van.
Aren’t they lovely? She is so glad she did it.
Happy birthday darling girl! We love you very much!
